GCSE Success at Notley High School

Notley High School is celebrating after students achieved a record number of Grade 9s and top grades in this summer’s GCSE results.

Headteacher (Mr Mark Barrow) said:

“We are incredibly proud of our students. Alongside the increase in top grades, what makes me most proud are the many personal success stories — students achieving the results they need to move on to our Sixth Form, apprenticeships, and training, and in many cases exceeding their own expectations. These results are a testament to the resilience and commitment shown by our young people, the dedication of our staff, and the support of parents and carers. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to these achievements.”

Subjects including Art, Computer Science, English, French, History, Music, Physics, Religious Studies, Spanish, and Construction saw particularly strong performances, while many students are now preparing to return to Notley’s Sixth Form in September.

The School is now preparing to welcome many of its GCSE students back into its Sixth Form, where they will continue to build on their success. The Sixth Form has also seen a record number of applications from external students.

Thank you
